A oopy of the latest draft of the proposed

Agreement is attached to 72751 30. I see

no objection to these suggested amendments to

which neither the Government of Hong Kong nor

the British Legation wish to raise any

objection.

The matter is at present resting as Hong Kong nappily describes it, but it will

be desirable to get agreement in principle

on these points so that we have an up-to-date

draft ready if it is needed.

? Send a copy of No. 32 without

enclosures to the Foreign Office, saying that

it
